Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light fixture for plants and a lighting apparatus for plants, both of which are capable of evenly irradiating a plant in a height direction thereof with light for promoting plant growth, without allowing the light intensity to become too strong. [Solution] The light fixture for plants according to the present invention comprises: a hollow cylindrical body which has a reflective surface formed at least therewithin and which is capable of introducing light that promotes plant growth; a light source insertion part which is disposed in a region of the cylindrical body other than the ends thereof and in which a light source for emitting the light can be inserted; and a plurality of through-holes which are disposed in the lateral surface of the cylindrical body and through which the light from the light source disposed inside the cylindrical body is diffused peripherally, wherein, in the lateral surface of the cylindrical body where the through-holes are formed, a counter area part that faces the light source has a lower aperture ratio than areas closer to the respective ends than the counter area.
