Abstract:
Provided are a light receiving element and an electronic device that prevent generation of a false signal by the emission of light due to circuitry. The light receiving element comprises a plurality of pixels. Each of the plurality of pixels includes: a photoelectric conversion layer for photoelectric conversion of incident light; a signal readout circuit provided on a side of the photoelectric conversion layer opposite a light incident side thereof, and comprising an in-pixel transistor for amplifying a signal charge generated by the photoelectric conversion layer and reading out the signal charge to the outside of a pixel array; and a metal junction portion bonding the photoelectric conversion layer with the signal readout circuit. The metal junction portion covers the in-pixel transistor when viewed from a surface of the photoelectric conversion layer on the light incident side.
