Abstract:
Disclosed is a light source device capable of efficiently releasing the heat generated by a light source. Also disclosed are a display device and a television receiver. By supporting the light source (8) in a depression (90) provided in a chassis (9), the heat dissipation path can be shortened and efficient heat dissipation can be realized. In addition, by directly fixing the light source (8) onto the chassis (9), the number of screws used for fixing can be reduced in comparison to cases in which the light source is fixed to the chassis (9) with a heat dissipating member therebetween, and production efficiency can be improved.
