Abstract:
The light source device of the present disclosure includes a solid-state light source (20), a dichroic mirror (29), first light condensing elements (30, 31), a fluorescent plate (35), a second light condensing element (36), a phase difference plate (38), and a reflection plate (39). The dichroic mirror (29) separates light from the solid-state light source (20) into one portion of light and another portion of light, and combines blue light obtained by conversion of polarization of the other portion of light with light including green and red components that is obtained by conversion of the wavelength of the one portion of light. The first condensing elements (30, 31) condense the one portion of light separated by the dichroic mirror (29) on the fluorescent plate (35). The second condensing element (36) condenses the other portion of light separated by the dichroic mirror (29) on the reflection plate (39) through the phase difference plate (38). At least one of the first condensing elements (30, 31) and the second condensing element (36) is constituted by a lens array.
