Abstract:
A light source device according to one embodiment of the present application comprises: a first light source unit that emits light of a first wavelength range; a wavelength conversion unit that is positioned on the optical path of the light of the first wavelength range and, excited by the light of the first wavelength range emitted from the first light source unit, emits light of a second wavelength range differing from the first wavelength range; a first polarization separation element that separates, on the basis of polarization, the light of the second wavelength range emitted from the wavelength conversion unit; and a second polarization separation element that is positioned, together with the first polarization separation element, between the first light source unit and the wavelength conversion unit, and is wavelength-selective.
