Abstract:
This light source device is provided with: a first light source unit comprising a first electrode to which current is applied, a first light emitting unit for emitting light by use of the current applied to the first electrode, and a first heat dissipation region for dissipating heat generated in the first light emitting unit; a second light source unit comprising a second electrode to which current is applied, a second light emitting unit for emitting light at a wavelength different from that of the first light emitting unit by use of the current applied to the second electrode, and a second heat dissipation region for dissipating heat generated in the second light emitting unit; and a heat dissipation unit which is electrically connected to the first electrode, electrically insulated from the second electrode, and thermally connected to the first heat dissipation region and the second heat dissipation region. Thus, provided is a light source device which includes a non-insulated type light source unit and an insulated type light source unit and which is reduced in size.
