Abstract:
Provided are: a light source module wherein a light guide plate is able to be prevented from coming into contact with a light source even if the light guide plate is expanded by the heat from the light source; and a display device.
A light source module which is provided with: a substrate on which a light source is mounted; a light guide plate that has the light, which has entered therein from a lateral surface that faces the light source, discharged from one surface; and a supporting body that supports the substrate at a facing surface that faces the lateral surface of the light guide plate. This light source module is provided with a fitting member for fitting the substrate to the supporting body, and the fitting member has a locking part to be locked with the supporting body and a holding part that holds the substrate between itself and the facing surface. The height of the holding part from the substrate surface, said holding part holding the substrate, is set higher than the height of the light source from the substrate surface.
