Abstract:
Provided are a light source unit and a display device that can be made thin while maintaining uniformity of brightness at the output surface. This light source unit and display device comprise: a light source installation surface on which one or more micro light sources are installed; a substrate that is disposed so as to be aligned with the light source installation surface and is translucent; a reflection pattern, on a first side of the substrate located on the light source installation surface side, that is formed on the basis of light distribution characteristics of the one or more micro light sources; and a low-reflection pattern, in a region located around the at least one micro light source, that is formed on the basis of light distribution characteristics. The reflectance of the light source installation surface in a region where the low-reflection pattern is formed is less than the reflectance in a region outside the region where the low-reflection pattern is formed.
