Abstract:
Provided are: a light-source unit that can emit parallel light while suppressing the phenomenon that the light appears to be different colors depending on the viewing angle; and a vehicle lamp. The light-source unit comprises: a light-source part having a plurality of light sources having light emission surfaces that emit light in different wavelengths, each of the light emission surfaces being positioned in the same plane; and a lens in which mixed light, in which light from the plurality of light sources is mixed, is incident from an incident surface, is made parallel, and is emitted from an emission surface, and when the maximum distance from a light axis AX on the outermost periphery of the lens is defined as r, the angle at which a component of the mixed light, having a brightness of 50% in relation to components on the light axis of the lens, is radiated is defined as α in relation to the light axis, and the thickness of the lens on the incident-surface side, having the plane including the outermost periphery of the lens as a reference, is defined as t, then the distance d from a reference position for the plurality of light sources to the lens is set so that d ≥ r/tan α - t.
