Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a light source unit which makes an excellent contrast between a black display part and a white display part if mounted on a display, while having a high front luminance. [Solution] A light source unit which comprises: a light source; a color conversion member that converts incident light from the light source into light having a longer wavelength than the incident light; and a reflective film that is arranged between the light source and the color conversion member and transmits light from the light source perpendicularly incident on the film surface, while reflecting light from the color conversion member perpendicularly incident on the film surface. This light source unit is characterized in that, with respect to the reflectance of the P wave of the light from the light source, if R20 (%), R40 (%) and R60 (%) are the respective reflectances in the cases where the light is incident on the reflective film surface at angles of 20°, 40° and 60°, R20, R40 and R60 satisfy R20 < R40 < R60.
