Abstract:
A light strip having a discontinuously layered flexible laminated circuit board, and a manufacturing method. An adhesive (2) is printed at multiple positions on a back surface of a single-layer flexible circuit board or a double-layer flexible circuit board that has a via hole (1.2a). A metallic single-layer circuit board (3) is then fabricated, and the circuit board having the adhesive printed on the back surface is attached to the metallic single-layer circuit board (3) to form a discontinuously adhered and discontinuously layered structure, i.e., a layered structure in which multiple locations between a portion of the metallic circuit board as a lower layer on the back surface and the single-layer circuit board or double-layer circuit board as an upper layer do not have the adhesive and are not adhered. The flexible laminated circuit board having two layers or three layers that are discontinuously layered is fabricated, an SMT process is then used to mount and solder components comprising an LED lamp, a connected light strip comprising multiple light strips is fabricated, and a strip cutting machine is used to cut the connected light strip into the strips, such that the light strips having a discontinuously layered flexible laminated circuit board are fabricated. The light strips of the invention are resistant to bending.
