A lighted make-up mirror set equipped with: a mirror unit; a color tunable planar light source for illuminating the subject being made-up; a setting unit for setting the planar light source illumination conditions according to input operations; an adjusting unit for adjusting the color and brightness of the planar light source according to the illumination conditions set by the setting unit; speakers; and a playback unit, which is provided with the sounds of multiple musical compositions as data and which selectively reproduces, from among the multiple musical composition sounds, one musical composition sound corresponding to the illumination conditions and the planar light source illumination time and outputs same as playback sound from the speakers.
