Abstract:
A lighter, especially a safe lighter without a pushbutton for lighting comprises a gas tank, an electric lighting unit and housing. It is characterized in that an opening is provided in the housing of the lighter or the middle frame provided in the housing. A working channel corresponding to the opening is provided. The channel is designed such that it enables an object from outside in given shape to pass through it and depress the button of the electric lighting unit. There is no lighting pushbutton provided in the opening or the working channel, which is movably connected with the housing or the middle frame of the housing. Thus with such construction, the lighter is capable of preventing children from lighting and enhances people’s interest.
