A lighting apparatus having a self-luminous outer casing surface, which comprises an electrical connection end (1) and a light-emitting assembly; the electrical connection end (1) is connected to a power supply; the light-emitting assembly comprises a light-emitting lamp casing and a circuit board (190) that controls the lamp casing to emit light; and the lamp casing comprises a casing (2) which is at least partially made of an OLED or microLED material that can actively emit light or a backlight material that can passively emit light. The lamp casing of the lighting apparatus can emit light; a larger range of illumination can be achieved; a larger cavity is formed in the lamp casing, which facilitates accommodating more and larger heat dissipation and electronic assemblies; compared to traditional LED bulbs, under a same size and shape, the present invention has a higher illumination power, a larger angle of illumination, more flexibility in modes of illumination, better heat dissipation, and a longer service life.
