Abstract:
A lighting apparatus is configured so as to modulate the optical intensity of a light source (11) provided with a light-emitting element (2), and to superimpose a communication signal on the light emitted from the light source (11). The lighting apparatus includes: a principal power source (3) configured so as to dim and brighten the light source (11) on the basis of a dimming signal; a switching element (Q1) for modulating the output current supplied to the light source (11) from the principal power source (3); an impedance element (Rx); a communication circuit (7); and a control power source (8). The communication circuit (7) is configured so as to control the switching element (Q1), and superimpose a modulation signal on the light emitted by the light source (11). The control power source (8) is configured so as to supply power to the communication circuit (7). One of the two input ports in the control power source (8) is connected to one end of the impedance element.
