Abstract:
This lighting apparatus is provided with a light source (3), and a lighting cover (2) that is positioned so as to face the light source, and serves as a light-emitting surface. The lighting cover has an inner surface (2a) facing the light source, an outside surface (2b) facing outside, and a plurality of prisms (10) formed on the outside surface. The prisms each have at least one surface inclined with respect to the inner surface. The angle of inclination of the inclined surfaces of the prisms averages at least 12 to 42 degrees. If an angle formed with the normal direction of the lighting cover is denoted as θ, the ratio of luminosity in a direction in which θ is 60 to 90 degrees to the luminosity in a direction in which θ is 0 degrees is 20% or less.
