Abstract:
According to the present invention, a backlight device 12 is provided with: LEDs 14; an LED substrate 15 on which the LEDs 14 are mounted; an optical member 16 disposed facing the LED substrate 15 with a gap therebetween; and a translucent support member 17 interposed between the LED substrate 15 and the optical member 16 to support the optical member 16, and having, between the LED substrate 15 and the translucent support member 17, at least an LED enclosing part 21 surrounding the LEDs 14.
