Abstract:
The present invention is configured in the manner described below. A lighting device that has disposed therein a light guide plate 10, a plurality of LEDs 40, a prism sheet 30 on the upper surface side of the light guide plate 10, and a reflective sheet 20 on the lower surface side of the light guide plate 10. The lighting device is characterized by: the plurality of LEDs 40 being arranged in a first direction along a first side of the light guide plate 10, on the side surface corresponding to the first side; a first prism array of the prism sheet 30 being formed on a surface facing the light guide plate 10; a prism in the first prism array extending in the first direction, being arranged in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction, and having a diffusion sheet 50 between the upper surface of the light guide plate 10 ad the prism sheet 30; the haze value of the diffusion sheet 50 being 30%–65% when measured according to JIS K7361; and the apex angle of the prism in the first prism array being 55–66°.
