Abstract:
A lighting device comprising: a light source that emits light; a light distribution unit that has a liquid crystal panel, and adjusts the light distribution range of the light emitted from the light source to the exterior by subjecting the light traversing the liquid crystal panel to transmittance and transmission range control; a temperature information acquisition unit that acquires information indicating the temperature of the light distribution unit; and a control unit that performs a prescribed operation for suppressing an increase in the temperature of the light distribution unit when the temperature of the light distribution unit is equal to or greater than a prescribed temperature.
