Abstract:
A lightweight machining method for a workpiece. The method comprises: heating a blank to a first preset temperature T1 in a heating furnace, and performing heat preservation for a first preset duration t1; taking out the heated blank, and placing same at a hot spinning station of a hot spinning machine, so as to perform a spinning forming operation on the blank to form a basic shape of a pre-machined workpiece; and after the spinning forming operation is completed, an unloader of the hot spinning machine conveying the blank, which has been subjected to the spinning forming operation, to a cooling area so as to be cooled to a second preset temperature T2. Also provided is a spinning device. The method and the device solve the problem in the prior art whereby the spoke and the rim are both thick, such that a wheel is relatively heavy, thereby increasing the energy consumption of a vehicle.
