Abstract:
Disclosed is a lightweight rotary sealing mechanism for sealing an opening at the rear portion of a mixing drum of a concrete mixer truck. A central material cylinder is disposed at the center of the rear portion of the mixing drum, and rotates synchronously with the mixing drum. The mechanism comprises a rotary sealing cover. A rotation ring is provided at the middle portion of the rotary sealing cover, and an outer sealing ring is provided at the outer circumference of the rotary sealing cover. The outer sealing ring is configured to contact the opening of the rear portion of the mixing drum. The rotary sealing cover further comprises a plurality of support frames radially arranged around the rotation ring, the inner end of each support frame being movably connected to the rotation ring and the outer end of each support frame being connected to a support plate. The outer sealing ring is jacketed on to an annular support module formed by the support plates. The rotary sealing cover is also coated with a flexible outer coat. The present invention has the advantages of good sealing, a simple structure, being low cost and light weight, and can meet the requirement of reducing the weight of mixer trucks.
