Abstract:
From images (I1, I2) of each line (1, 1a, 2, 2a, 4, 4a, 5) captured by line sensor cameras (11, 12) installed on the roof top (10a) of a vehicle (10), line parts (A-T) and a sliding surface portion (8) are detected. If a line part contains a sliding surface portion (8), the relevant line parts and similar line parts are associated together between each captured image (I1, I2). If only one line part does not contain a sliding surface portion (8), the relevant line parts are associated together between each captured image (I1, I2). If two or more line parts do not contain a sliding surface portion (8), the relevant line parts are associated together between each captured image (I1, I2) on the basis of the result from carrying out stereo measurement on two similar line parts between the captured images (I1, I2). On the basis of the result from this association, the height and deviation of the lines (1, 1a, 2, 2a, 4, 4a, 5) are calculated.
