Abstract:
This linear actuator comprises: a fixing member; a first rotating member provided to be capable of rotating about a center axis; a second rotating member provided to be capable of rotating about a center axis; a one-way clutch that allows relative rotation of the first rotating member in one direction about the center axis in relation to the second rotating member, and prevents relative rotation of the first rotating member in the other direction about the center axis in relation to the second rotating member; a thrust bearing that, when separated from the fixing member, is interposed between the first rotating member and the second rotating member and allows relative rotation of the first rotating member and the second rotating member about the center axis; a friction resistance member held between the fixing member and the second rotating member along the axial direction of the center axis; and a rotation-linear motion conversion mechanism that converts the rotation of the first rotating member into linear motion of a linear motion member.
