Abstract:
A linear compressor is disclosed. The linear compressor according to the present specification comprises: a frame; an outer stator comprising a stator core arranged in the frame, teeth units extending inward from the stator core, and a teeth shoe extending in the circumferential direction from the inner side end of each teeth unit; a coil arranged on the teeth unit; a cylinder arranged in the frame; a piston arranged in the cylinder; an inner stator which is coupled to the outer circumferential surface of the piston and reciprocates in the axial direction due to the electromagnetic interaction with the coil; a magnet which is arranged on the teeth shoe and faces the inner stator; and a virtual pole which is arranged on the teeth shoe and on the front or rear portion in the axial direction of the magnet, and faces the inner stator, wherein the outer stator comprises a plurality of core plates which are stacked in the axial direction, and the distance between the magnet and the inner stator is different from the distance between the virtual pole and the inner stator.
