Abstract:
There is demand for inhibiting the occurrence of slack in a wire body while minimizing an increase in size, etc., of a linear motion mechanism. A linear motion mechanism 1 has a plurality of linear motion elements 21, 22, 23, 24 assembled in multiple stages so as to be capable of extending/contracting, and a block row 40 that is connected to the linear motion elements and that drive the linear motion elements. The linear motion mechanism 30 feeds out the block row from a housing part in order to extend the linear motion elements, and pulls back the block row into the housing part in order to contract the linear motion elements. A wire body 60 is positioned along the block row. A detour member 70 is provided in order to absorb excess length of the wire body, which varies as the block row is fed out or pulled back.
