Abstract:
A linear motor, which is equipped with a mover having a cylindrical coil and a shaft-shaped stator which penetrates through the inside of the coil, is configured such that the mover is equipped with (a) a magnetic body which is placed so as to cover the outer periphery of the coil and (b) a heat-dissipation member comprising a heat-collection section which is attached to the outer periphery of the magnetic body and a heat dissipation section which is continuously formed from the heat-collection section and extends outward in the radial direction of the coil. This configuration enables a magnetic flux to efficiently flow inside the coil, so the thrusting force of the motor to be improved. In addition, heat generated in the coil can be efficiently dissipated to the outside of the coil, so that the heat-dissipation characteristic can be improved.
