Abstract:
This linear rotary motor comprises a frame (5), a stator (10) provided with a linear coil (11) and a rotary coil (12), and a mover (20) provided with a magnet (22) and a shaft (21) having an output axis (21a), wherein the linear coil (11) and the rotary coil (12) are energized to linearly move and rotate the mover (20). A linear detector (52) is disposed on the fame (5) or the stator (10) so as to face the magnet (22) and detects the position of the mover (20) in the linear direction. A linear scale (51) is provided on the outer circumference of the mover (20) over the movable range in the linear direction and the rotation range in the circumferential direction so as to be faced by the linear detector (52) when the mover (20) linearly moves or rotates.
