A linear vibration motor (100), comprising a housing (10), a stator assembly (30), a vibrator assembly (50), and an electromagnetic damping assembly (70), wherein the housing (10) is provided with an accommodating cavity (10a); the stator assembly (30) is accommodated in the accommodating cavity (10a), and is fixed with the housing (10); the vibrator assembly (50) is suspended in the accommodating cavity (10a), and is adapted to the stator assembly (30) so as to vibrate under the driving of the stator assembly (30); the electromagnetic damping assembly (70) is accommodated in the accommodating cavity (10a); the electromagnetic damping assembly (70) comprises damping magnetic steel (71) and a conductor (73) adapted to each other; the conductor (73) is fixed to the vibrator assembly (50); and the damping magnetic steel (71) is fixed to a wall of the accommodating cavity (10a), and is positioned on the side of the conductor (73) that is away from the vibrator assembly (50), so as to damp the conductor (73) along with vibration of the vibrator assembly (50). The linear vibration motor can shorten braking time of the vibrator assembly (50) in the linear vibration motor (100), thereby giving a user a better tactile experience.
