A lip seal welded-type pipe fitting interface and an installation method therefor. The lip seal welded-type pipe fitting interface comprises a pipe fitting having a socket, a pipe inserted into the pipe fitting socket, and a sealing ring having a main ring and an annular lip and arranged between an outward protruding annular wall of an inner annular groove of the pipe fitting socket and a part of the outer sidewall of the pipe inserted into the socket. The pipe fitting socket is provided at the opening thereof with a weld structure to be welded and fixed with the pipe. The annular lip of the sealing ring is a cylindrical cone and angled at 0-89 degrees to the axial direction of the pipe. The annular lip of the sealing ring is affixed to the outer wall of the pipe and maintains a seal-squeeze ratio of 10-30%. The outer sidewall of the main ring of the sealing ring or the attached lip on the main ring is affixed to and kept in sealed compression with the outward protruding annular wall of the inner annular groove of the pipe fitting. The lip seal welded-type pipe fitting interface and the installation method therefor have the advantages that are absent in the prior art such as structural stability, great sealing performance, and extended service life.
