Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a method for producing small liposomes on a mass-production scale, and a liposome production device to be used with this method. The present invention provides a liposome production method including a step for obtaining a mixture containing a water phase and an oil phase obtained by dissolving one or more types of lipids in an organic solvent, and stirring the mixture inside a first tank of a device having the first tank and a circulation path, wherein the ratio of the circulation path volume to the total volume of the circulation path and the tank is 0.4 or less, and/or the time from when the mixture leaves the first tank to when the mixture returns to the first tank is 2.0 minutes or less.
