LIPSTICK WITH A PUSH AND POP MECHANISM

FIELD OF THE INVENTION:

The present invention provides a Lipstick with a Push and Pop mechanism. In particular it provides an on the go lipstick with plurality of shades in a single unit.

The present invention claims the priority to the patent application number 202021053356. The present invention is an improvement of the invention disclosed and claimed in the complete specification of the parent patent application number 202021053356.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:

Lipstick, a waxy and semi-solid cosmetics used to shade lips, is an integral part of makeup since ancient times, when women used to pinch, bite or rub their lips with various materials to make them appear colored, especially red.

The history of lipstick is traced back to approximately 5,000 years ago, where Sumerian men and women used to wear lip shade obtained from crushed gemstones. Later on, ancient civilizations, such as Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Syrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Indus Valley people and Japanese, from different era and ages used to procured lip stain from naturally occurring substances like fruits, henna, clay rust, insects, and precious jewels. Some derived lip shade from carmine dye that was extracted from grounded cochineal insects and ants, lead, bromine, and iodine, tar and beeswax. As per Indian Ayurveda, dry Ratanjot root mixed with ghee was initially used to cure chapped and sore lips but later took up cosmetic value and is still used as a natural lip shade in some Indian continent.

Modern day, lipstick history goes back to 9 AD, when an Arab scientist, Abulcasis invented the solid lipstick using a mold. In 16th century, Queen Elizabeth I is known to popularize red lips. In 1884 AD, French company Guerlain was the first company to produce lipstick, commercially, made with deer tallow, beeswax and castor oil, wrapped in a silk paper. In early years of 20 th century, lipsticks started coming in cylindrical containers / swivel up tube, and by now it was available to masses, which was earlier reserved for Elite class women, only. In 1952, even Queen Elizabeth II customized and popularized a new shade of lipstick called The Balmoral’ during her coronation, matching to her coronation robe. In the 1980s, lipstick was all about shimmers, gloss, and lip liners. From 2000 onwards, lipsticks started to come in variety of shades and formulas, such as nudes to pink, red, maroon, brown to even crazy options like yellow, white, green, purple, and even black lipstick, by this time the lipsticks have truly become a symbol of selfexpression, for almost every second women.

So, with the passage of time, lipsticks have undergone a massive transformation, a wide range of shades and shades of lipsticks are available for use in different textures, finishes and shapes, catering one’s unique needs. And now a days, it becomes a kind of new normal for every women to use and carry multiple shades of lipsticks, whether it is for the reason to stay ahead of the fashion or to express one’s individuality, but it is a costly affair. As per recent survey, the most popular cosmetic item which all women have in her bag is lipstick (15.5%) and on an average a women will use up to 9 pounds of lipstick in their lifetime. Among them, 40% owned more than 20 sticks and throw about 10% of their unused lipstick away due to the difficulty or inconvenience of using.

With increasing popularity, packing of lipstick becomes an important parameter for users and sellers. The packaging of lipstick is always a challenging thing for engineers to serve the convenience of women for quick use in public. The major problem of designing of lipstick case involves challenges in terms of the appearance of lipstick case, space occupied by the lipsticks in purse, and minimizing the left-over content of lipsticks, in a cost-effective manner.

Some design was applied to the exterior of the case like, attaching mirror or brush, just to make them more attractive, however there was nothing much on the functionality part of the lipsticks. Buying and carrying multiple lipsticks of different shades is also, very discouraging for women, from travelling point of view.

The drawback with conventional designing of lipstick case, is that the case designing is limited to an old non-appealing packaging with the cover cap and twisting roller. Wherein, lipstick pipe generally comprises upper cover, base, and upper cover detachably spiral-locked on the base, which is not user friendly.

In another type of conventional lipsticks, simple buckling form of the upper cover and the base is used, but the drawback of such designing is that they become monotonous to consumers in long run. Additionally, the major drawback of such lipstick case is that, they are bearing one shade of lipstick only.

Therefore, there is an emerging need of a lipstick holding plurality of shades of lipstick, simultaneously, which is attractive, convenient to use, and takes lesser time during use. Particularly, there is a need to provide a lipstick case with appealing designability, more functionality, space saving, and economical.

PRIOR ART AND ITS DISADVANTAGES:

Chinese patent CN112806697A relates to a utility model providing pressing pop-up type lipstick containers. The pressing pop-up type lipstick container comprises an outer cover and a lipstick base.
