Abstract:
This liquefied gas carrier is provided with: a tank for storing liquefied gas; gas fuel engines to which boil-off gas generated by evaporation of the liquefied gas in the tank is supplied as fuel; a gas supply line for supplying the boil-off gas from the tank to the gas fuel engines; a gas compressor which is disposed on the gas supply line and pressure-feeds the boil-off gas to the gas fuel engines; a gas return line for returning excessive gas not supplied to the gas fuel engines back into the tank from the gas supply line; and a gas return valve for opening/closing the gas return line. The gas return line is positioned in a central region in the height direction of the tank and has an excess gas jetting part for jetting the excess gas into the tank.
