Abstract:
A liquefied hydrogen tank installed in a ship and equipped with an inner tank for storing liquefied hydrogen and an outer tank which surrounds the inner tank, wherein one or more tanks among the inner and outer tanks are leakage-preventing tanks, and the wall thickness of the leakage-preventing tanks is such that an initial defect will not propagate more than halfway through the thickness of the wall during the lifespan of the tank.
