Abstract:
A liquid adhesive bandage, comprising the following components in percentage by weight: 10-20 parts of a main film-forming agent, i.e., ethyl cellulose, 6-15 parts of an auxiliary film-forming agent, i.e., carboxymethyl chitosan, 3-5 parts of an air-permeable modifying agent, i.e., polyvinylpyrrolidone, 1-8 parts of a plasticizer, 25-30 parts of ethanol, 30-40 parts of ethyl acetate, and 20-30 parts of distilled water. The ethyl cellulose dissolved in the ethanol and the ethyl acetate forms an isolating waterproof film on a wound. The carboxymethyl chitosan dissolved in the distilled water is inlaid in nanoscale pores of an ethyl cellulose film to form a composite film. The composite film combines the advantages of ethyl cellulose and carboxymethyl chitosan, has strong tensile strength and flexibility, is elastic, and has better antibacterial, hemostasis, healing and analgesic functions, and can promote division of epithelial cells, fibroblasts and other cells and extracellular matrix growth, thereby significantly accelerating wound healing and reducing scar formation.
