Abstract:
Provided is a means that can reduce the effort of changing a cartridge. A controller 130 of a printer 10 causes a display 28 to not display a C_Empty report screen thereon if determining that at least one liquid level signal from a liquid level sensor 33 is "H" (S82: Yes) and that there is at least one color for which the cartridge residual amount value is equal to or below a second prescribed residual amount (S86: Yes). The controller 130 causes the display 28 to display thereon a C_Empty report screen urging replacement of a cartridge 200 if determining, in a subsequent first display control process, that at least one liquid level signal is "H" (S82: Yes) and that there is at least one color for which the liquid level signal is "L" and the cartridge residual amount value is equal to or below the second prescribed residual amount (S86: No).
