Abstract:
Provided is a liquid crystal aligning agent which has excellent storage stability and is capable of providing a liquid crystal alignment film that exhibits excellent rubbing resistance, excellent liquid crystal alignment stability and quick reduction of accumulated charge, while being suppressed in flickering (namely, being at a low flicker level) immediately after driving.
A liquid crystal aligning agent which contains: a polyamic acid ester having a specific repeating unit having a structure of formula (Y1-1) and a specific repeating unit having a structure of formula (Y2-1) (component A); and a polyamic acid having a specific structure (component B).
