Abstract:
The present invention uses a liquid crystal composition which contains a liquid crystal material and a self-cleavable radically polymerizable monomer that is represented by chemical formula (1).
(In chemical formula (1), R1 represents a linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group having 1-8 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group; each of Z1 and Z2 independently represents -O-, -S-, -NH-, -CO-, -COO-, -OCO- or a direct bond; each of Sp1 and Sp2 represents a linear, branched or cyclic alkylene group having 1-8 carbon atoms, an alkenylene group or a direct bond; and each of P1 and P2 independently represents a (meth)acryloyloxy group or a (meth)acryloylamino group.)
