Abstract:
A first purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal composition which can form a reflective layer having excellent diffuse reflection properties. A second purpose of the present invention is to provide a production method of a reflective layer having excellent diffuse reflection properties, and a reflective layer having excellent diffuse reflection properties. A third purpose of the present invention is to provide a cured product and an optically anisotropic body formed using the aforementioned liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal composition contains a liquid crystal compound, a chiral agent A which has spiral inducing power that decreases with optical irradiation, and a chiral agent B which induces spiraling in the direction opposite that of the chiral agent A, and when the liquid crystal compound is oriented and brought to a cholesteric liquid crystal phase, the liquid crystal composition orients cholesterically in the spiral orientation induced by the chiral agent B.
