Abstract:
Provided in the present application are a liquid crystal compound, a liquid crystal composition thereof, and a liquid crystal display device; the liquid crystal compound has the structure shown in formula I and is a novel dibenzo derivative, and has a higher clearing point, greater optical anisotropy, a greater dielectric anisotropy absolute value, and a higher vertical dielectric. The liquid crystal composition containing the liquid crystal compound, whilst having appropriate optical anisotropy, an appropriate clearing point, and appropriate rotational viscosity, has a greater dielectric anisotropy absolute value, a greater vertical dielectric, a greater K value (K11, K33), a longer low-temperature storage time, and a higher penetration rate, such that the liquid crystal display device containing the liquid crystal composition, whilst maintaining an appropriate response speed, has a lower threshold voltage, better contrast, better low-temperature storage stability, and a higher penetration rate, and has high application value in liquid crystal display devices with display modes such as VA, PSVA, IPS, and NFFS.
