Abstract:
A liquid-crystal display device comprises: a pair of transparent electrodes which are positioned in mutual opposition to one another with a liquid-crystal layer interposed therebetween; a gate insulation film which is formed to cover a gate electrode which is formed in a liquid-crystal layer side pixel region of one of the pair of transparent substrates; a semiconductor film which configures a thin film transistor which is disposed upon the gate insulation film; a first electrode which is disposed upon the semiconductor film with a first insulation film and a second insulation film interposed therebetween; a second electrode which is disposed upon the first electrode with a third insulation film interposed therebetween; and a contact hole, wherein the second electrode is formed, which is formed integrally with the third insulation film upon the first electrode, the second insulation film, and the first insulation film. A floating electrode is formed in a peripheral region of the contract hole.
