Abstract:
Provided is a polarizer protective film comprising a polyester film which is capable of suppressing the leakage of light even in cases in which two polarizers are disposed in a crossed Nicols state. A polarizer protective film which comprises a polyester film and is characterized in that the absolute value of the difference between the thermal shrinkage at a direction 45 degrees from the film flow direction and the thermal shrinkage at a direction -45 degrees from the film flow direction is no higher than 0.4%.
