Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device which has stable optical characteristics. A liquid crystal display device (10) according to the present invention is characterized by comprising: a liquid crystal display panel (11) which has a counter substrate (11a), a TFT substrate (11b) and a liquid crystal layer (11c) that is positioned between the substrates; a light guide plate (12) which is positioned on the back surface side of the liquid crystal display panel (11); a sealing member (15) which seals the space between the counter substrate (11a) and the light guide plate (12); and a quantum dot-containing sheet (1) which is positioned between the TFT substrate (11b) and the light guide plate (12). This liquid crystal display device (10) is also characterized in that the quantum dot-containing sheet is sealed by means of the sealing member.
