Abstract:
A liquid crystal phase shifting unit, a manufacturing method therefor, a liquid crystal phase shifter, and an antenna, related to the technical field of phase shifting. Steady support is implemented for a liquid crystal filling area (6) via a support structure (4), thus increasing the stability of transmission for a microwave signal. An area between a first substrate (1) and a second substrate (2) of the liquid crystal phase shifting unit comprises the liquid crystal filling area (6). A microstrip line (3) is provided on the surface of the first substrate (1) facing the second substrate (2). The orthogonal projection of the microstrip line (3) on the first substrate (1) is located within the liquid crystal filling area (6). The support structure (4) is provided between the first substrate (1) and the second substrate (3), and is arranged in the liquid crystal filling area (6). The orthogonal projection of the support structure (4) on the first substrate (1) does not overlap with the microstrip line (3). The present invention is used for performing phase shifting on a microwave signal.
