Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention relates to a liquid crystal polymer film or a method for producing a liquid crystal polymer film; and the liquid crystal polymer film satisfies the requirements (1) to (3) described below. (1) The tensile strengths of the liquid crystal polymer film in the machine direction and in the transverse direction are respectively 35 MPa or more as determined in accordance with JIS K 7127. (2) The elongations at break of the liquid crystal polymer film in the machine direction and in the transverse direction are respectively 4% or more as determined in accordance with JIS K 7127. (3) The ratio of the tensile strength of the liquid crystal polymer film in the machine direction to the tensile strength of the liquid crystal polymer film in the transverse direction, namely (tensile strength in machine direction)/(tensile strength in transverse direction) is from 0.8 to 2.3 as determined in accordance with JIS K 7127.
