Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid dispersion that is able to maintain a stable dispersion state for a prolonged period of time and that can be suitably applied to both oil-in-water cosmetics and water-in-oil cosmetics. Also provided by the present invention are a cosmetic raw material and a cosmetic that use this liquid dispersion. The liquid dispersion according to the present invention contains a polyvalent alcohol (A), a nonionic surfactant (B), and a hydrophobized inorganic powder (C), wherein the moisture content is at most 1 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of said liquid dispersion.
