Abstract:
A liquid fuel synthesis system (100) comprises a liquid fuel synthesis unit (110) and a sweep gas supply unit (120). The liquid fuel synthesis unit (110) allows permeation of water vapor, which is one product in a reaction for converting a source gas containing at least hydrogen and carbon dioxide into a liquid fuel. The sweep gas supply unit (120) supplies the liquid fuel synthesis unit (110) with a sweep gas for sweeping the water vapor that has permeated through a separation membrane (112). The sweep gas contains hydrogen or carbon dioxide as main components.
