Title:
LIQUID-JETTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/085833
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A liquid-jetting device (10) has a liquid-feeding path (10-2) through which a liquid fuel is fed from an electromagnetically opened/closed discharging valve (24), a chamber (10-3), a liquid-introducing path (10-4) with a slit, and an actuator (11) including a piezoelectric/electrostriction element. The actuator (11) cyclically changes the path area of the slit. This causes pressure variation and/or flow speed variation to be applied to a fluid flowing through the slit. The liquid pressurized by a pressurizing pump flows through the discharge valve, fuel-feeding path, liquid-introducing path, and chamber, in that order, and is jetted from liquid-jetting holes (10-3a) of the chamber. Since the pressure variation and/or flow speed variation is applied to the liquid to be jetted, the liquid turns to minute particles in a space of liquid jetting.
