Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a discharge device that can solve the problems of variation in discharge amount and of suppressing pressure fluctuation in a compressed gas that is supplied to a container that stores a liquid material. [Solution] A liquid material discharge device and a coating device. The liquid material discharge device is provided with: a storage container that stores a liquid material; a discharge port that discharges the liquid material; a pressure control valve that adjusts, to a desired pressure, the pressure of a compressed gas that is supplied from an external compressed gas source; a discharge valve that establishes or cuts off communication between the pressure control valve and the storage container; a control device that controls the operation of the discharge valve; first piping that connects the pressure control valve and the discharge valve; and second piping that connects the discharge valve and the storage container. The liquid discharge device is also provided with third piping that branches from the first piping and with a leak mechanism that is connected to the third piping. The leak mechanism vents to the outside one portion of the compressed gas that has had the pressure thereof adjusted by the pressure control valve.
