Abstract:
A liquid sensor that detects whether or not liquid is present inside a light-transmitting tube, comprising: a light-projecting unit (37) that irradiates detection light; a light-receiving unit (38) facing the light-projecting unit (37) and which receives the detection light; either a first cover member (20A) or a second cover member (20B) provided between the light-projecting unit (37) and the light-receiving unit (38); and a main case (10) to which the first cover member (20A) and the second cover member (20B) can be selectively mounted. The first cover member (20A) includes first holding sections (51A, 51B) configured so as to hold a tube having a first diameter. The first holding sections (51A, 51B) elastically deform when holding the first diameter tube. The second cover member (20B) includes a second holding section (60) configured so as to hold a tube having a second diameter greater than the first diameter. The second holding section (6) does not elastically deform when holding the second diameter tube.
