Description:
A LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINER AND AN APPARATUS FOR EASY CARRYING OF SAID

CONTAINER

Technical Field

The present invention relates to a liquid storing container for liquids such as water particularly and an apparatus for the easy carrying of the said container.

Prior Art

In the state of the art, there are apparatuses such as handles (carrying grips or carrying handles or carrying holders or fit-in apparatus) for easy carrying of carboys which are used as containers and carry containers for liquids. Said apparatuses are produced/sold separately from standard carboys and are attached to the brim of the carboys and work according to the install-and- remove principle; and when the user lifts and places the carboy elsewhere or shoulders the carboy by holding it by the handle, carboy might get loose from the plug-in apparatus, i.e. fall and/or roll. On the other hand, in order to carry the carboy with ease, the user might want to shoulder the carboy and can do so by holding the carboy by the handle. After a while, due to the repetition of this movement and as a result of the reverse movement, the load causes health problems in the user especially in the waist area.

In another product of the state of the art to provide ease of carrying of carboys, the carboy is produced monolithically together with its handle (grip). In the said monolithic production, the handle is produced so that it is in the middle / on the side of the carboy body and the carboy is parallel to the floor when it is held by the handle. When the user wants to place the carboy with its base contacting the floor by holding it by the said handle, the user has to move the wrist at certain angles, i.e. perpendicular to the floor, from the initial position of the carboy to the final position, which in turn causes health problems, especially in the wrist, after a certain period of time. On the other hand, when the user places the carboy by holding it from the handle at any time such that the cylindrical surface contacts the floor in a parallel manner, the risk of rolling occurs. Therefore, said handles are not really functional for effective carrying of the carboy placed on the floor during or after carrying. Additionally, hygiene problems arise in the carboys of the state of the art, since the horizontal handles which are produced monolithically to be in parallel with the floor during carrying and which are produced with open brim to provide liquid inlet and outlet and having certain blind points are very difficult to clean. There are always blind points in the said handles where the liquids providing hygiene are not able to reach.

In addition to the aforementioned points, bacteria can grow in a fast and easy way as the inner surface of the standard carboys of the state of the art is rough. As a result, the carboys are not hygienic.

Containers produced in the state of the art are not functional as they suffer from problems of cracking. Problems of cracking in carboys are caused by the verticality of the angles in the carboy support arches.

In the state of the art, there is a need for nonbreakable, anti-bacterial liquid storing containers which are easy to carry and do not cause health problems while being carried.

Summary of the Invention:

The objective of the present invention is to produce a liquid storing container for liquids such as water particularly and an apparatus for the easy carrying of the said container.

In line with the said objective, production of a liquid storing container with a brim element is provided. Furthermore, production of a carrying apparatus that is produced separately from the container of the present invention and positioned such that it fits exactly to the brim element of the container is provided. The carrying apparatus is placed during mounting such that it fits exactly to the grooves made on the brim element with a special production technique and it does not come out afterwards. The user can carry the liquid storing container easily and safely using the said positioning and carrying apparatus.

Another objective of the invention is to produce an anti-bacterial liquid storing container. In line with the said objective, the inner surface of the storing container is produced as a smooth surface and thereby the bacteria can not hold on to the said surface. Additionally, the cleaning liquid reaches the entire of the inner surface of the container during the cleaning. That is, there are no blind spots preventing the liquid from reaching everywhere, i.e. it is easier to disinfect the container and therefore a anti-bacterial container is obtained.

Also, since an arched structure of the body exhibits outwardly and convex angular features from the body, bacterial adhesion to the inner surface is prevented and the container gains antibacterial properties. The arch look like a ring structure attached to the body.

With the invention, in addition to the functional feature of the carrying apparatus, a liquid container is produced which is easy to carry, unbreakable and does not cause health problems during carrying. Description of the Drawinqs

Detailed Description of the Invention:

The liquid storing container (1) of the present invention comprises a brim element (10), a carrying apparatus (11 ) positioned by engaging to the brim element, a base (13), a cylindrical body (13) which is between the said base (13) and brim element (10), an arch (14) having a ring-like structure that is produced on the body (12) with the container (1) monolithically, positioned on the body (12) and convexly to the body (12) with a certain angle.

In the invention, the carrying apparatus (11), positioned precisely on the brim element (10) with the lugs located thereon engaging to the grooves on the brim element (10). After being positioned on the brim element (10), the carrying apparatus no longer works with the install- and-remove principle and therefore it cannot be removed after it is installed once. That is, the carrying apparatus (11) that is engaged to the brim element (10) during mounting cannot be removed from the brim element (10) if desired. The mounting of the container and carrying apparatus to each other is performed right after separate productions. The brim element (10) is produced with both the brim element (10) and the carrying apparatus (11) such that the carrying apparatus (11) can be precisely positioned thereon. That is, the container (1) is produced such that the brim element (10) and the carrying apparatus (11) are suitable for each other. The container (1), the brim element (10), the carrying apparatus (11), the body (12), the arch (14) and the base (13) are produced to have a predetermined size. The carrying apparatus (11) is produced in a size such that it is engaged precisely on the brim element (10).

The user using the carrying apparatus (11) that is engaged on the brim element (10), can carry the container (1) both easily and safely. Therefore, a container (1) that does not cause health problems during carrying is produced.

The container (1) of the present invention has an anti-bacterial structure. Said structure is provided by producing the entirety of the inner surface of the container (1 ) that is in contact with the liquid. Additionally, the arch (14) of the body (12) has a structure that is outwards from the body (12) with a convex angle. Bacteria adherence to the inner surface of the body (12) is prevented, particularly by the smooth construction of the inner surface of the arched structure (14). The rugged (rough) areas in the region of the belt (14) of the container (1) of the present invention that contact with the liquid are smoothed to facilitate washing. Furthermore, the invention provides a more hygienic, anti-bacterial container (1) by minimizing the surface that contacts bacteria to the inner surface of the container (1 ), the arch (14) and the base (13) by manufacturing the inner surface of the container (1) and in the region of the arch (14) in a smooth way. Thus the container (1) has an anti-bacterial structure. Additionally, particularly with the convex, that is ring-like, structure of the arch (14) on the container (1) with respect to the body (12), containers (1) which are easier to clean compared to the carboys of the prior art are obtained. Thus, the flow of the hygienic liquids used to clean container (1) becomes easy and it has a structure that is cleaned easily. Additionally, material strength of the container (1) is increased by providing the said angular feature. It was determined with the drop and loading the container (1) on top of one another tests that the strength of the containers (1) increased.

An unbreakable container (1) is obtained with the convex feature given to the arch (14). In the present invention, instead of having a rectangular shape of the arch (14), the problems of breaking of the containers (1 ) are overcomed by softening the corners and transforming the shape into a ring-like structure.

The raw material of both the liquid storage container (1 ) of the present invention and the carrying apparatus (11) positioned to fit precisely on the brim element (10) of the said container (1) is polycarbonate or copolyester or polypropylene or polyethylene or PET, however it is not limited to the in the implementation. The invention is not limited to the above exemplary embodiments, and a person skilled in the art can readily put forward other embodiments of the invention. These are considered within the scope of the invention as claimed by the accompanying claims.
